A Rourkela travel company that decided to be excellent at two things instead of average at twenty.

The founder

"The itinerary is a promise, not a PDF"

Soubhagya Nayak learned this trade at Cox & Kings — one of the oldest names in Indian travel and, more usefully, one of the most process-driven. That is where the habits came from: vetting suppliers properly, putting inclusions and exclusions in writing, and never sending a client an itinerary you have not personally verified.

Adapt Holidays has been running since 2010, built to bring that standard to families in Rourkela and across Odisha without the distance of a large corporate agency. The founder still picks up the phone himself when a flight is cancelled at two in the morning.

The decision that shaped the company

Why celebrations and pilgrimages

Both are trips where nothing is allowed to go wrong. Both are booked on trust rather than on price comparison. And both are badly served by agencies that treat them like any other booking.

A wedding happens once

There is no second attempt and no refund on a ruined day. Families need someone who has run the format before and knows what fails — not someone learning on their booking.

A yatra carries a promise

Most pilgrimages are made for a parent, or with one. The stakes are emotional, not logistical, which is exactly why the logistics have to be invisible.

Both are trust purchases

Nobody chooses a wedding planner or a Char Dham operator on price alone. They choose on whether they believe you will be there when something goes wrong.

Both bring the next booking

Do a wedding well and you get the honeymoon, the anniversary and four guest referrals. That compounding is the entire business model.

How we work

Five rules we do not break

If we have not stayed there, inspected it, or sent a client we trust, it does not go in your itinerary. Photographs on a booking site are marketing, not evidence.

The exclusions list is longer than most agencies publish, deliberately. You should know before you pay what is not covered.

If your budget does not stretch to what you are describing, we tell you at the first call and show you what it does stretch to. Nobody enjoys the conversation at the end instead.

Support during the trip is the only support that matters. Our number answers, and the person answering knows your booking.

If a destination or format is outside what we can execute properly, we will refer you rather than take the booking and improvise.

What you can hold us to

Four commitments

Same-day response

Enquiries on working days get a worked itinerary and indicative costing before the day ends.

No hidden charges

What is on the proposal is what is on the invoice. Any change is agreed with you before it is billed.

Verified suppliers only

Hotels, transport and ground handlers we have used before or personally checked.

Reachable on the road

A live support number for the duration of every trip we book.

Come and talk to us

Whether it is a wedding eighteen months out or a yatra next month, the first conversation costs nothing and usually saves money.
