Soubhagya Nayak learned this trade at Cox & Kings — one of the oldest names in Indian travel and, more usefully, one of the most process-driven. That is where the habits came from: vetting suppliers properly, putting inclusions and exclusions in writing, and never sending a client an itinerary you have not personally verified.
Adapt Holidays has been running since 2010, built to bring that standard to families in Rourkela and across Odisha without the distance of a large corporate agency. The founder still picks up the phone himself when a flight is cancelled at two in the morning.

What Adapt Holidays actually does
We are a full-service travel company based in Rourkela, Odisha, working since 2010. Families come to us for two things above all: a wedding or celebration somewhere away from home, and a pilgrimage done properly. Around those we handle the ordinary travel a family needs across a year — holidays, honeymoons, flights, hotels, visas, forex and insurance.
We are not a booking website. You deal with people who know your file, who have been to the places they are selling you, and who answer the phone while you are travelling. That is the whole proposition.
Celebrations
Destination weddings, anniversaries, milestone birthdays and family reunions — venue scouting, guest travel, room blocks, vendor coordination and a team on site for the whole event.
Pilgrimages
Char Dham, Kashi, Puri, Tirupati, Shirdi and Rameswaram, built around senior travellers — gentler pacing, darshan and pooja coordination, pure vegetarian meals throughout.
Holidays and honeymoons
Domestic and international, tailor-made or escorted group departures, with hotel recommendations based on where we have actually sent people.
The practical things
Visas, passports, forex, travel insurance, flights, trains, hotels, transfers, eSIMs and medical evacuation — so one number covers the whole trip.
For families, groups and travel partners
Families and individuals
Most of our work. A daughter getting married in Udaipur, parents who want to complete Char Dham while they still can, a couple on their first trip abroad. We plan it end to end and stay reachable throughout.
Travel agents and corporates
We handle ground arrangements, group series and visa files behind other agencies on a white-label basis, and run offsites, dealer meets and incentive travel for companies across Odisha.
Rooted in Rourkela, connected across India
Being an Odisha company is an advantage, not a limitation. We know the Jagannath temple routine, which Konark guide is worth booking, how Chilika works in each season, and how to move a group from Rourkela or Bhubaneswar without wasting a day in transit. For everywhere else, we have spent years building the supplier relationships that make a trip actually run.
How we work
If we have not stayed there, inspected it, or sent a client we trust, it does not go in your itinerary. Photographs on a booking site are marketing, not evidence.
The exclusions list is longer than most agencies publish, deliberately. You should know before you pay what is not covered.
If your budget does not stretch to what you are describing, we tell you at the first call and show you what it does stretch to. Nobody enjoys the conversation at the end instead.
Support during the trip is the only support that matters. Our number answers, and the person answering knows your booking.
If a destination or format is outside what we can execute properly, we will refer you rather than take the booking and improvise.
